Work continues to frame classrooms, install mechanical and electrical equipment, and install drywall.

Exterior walls around the commons that are not precast are now being framed. The west wall of the commons features a large clerestory window to bring natural light into the space.

The competition gym roof is complete. The space will feature large translucent panels on the east side that will bring diffused natural light into the space and will feature a Mavericks logo to the east.

Areas on the ground floor are being leveled and prepared for concrete to be poured.

The middle school gym is prepared for the concrete slab. A vapor barrier is installed to mitigate water issues. Once the slab has cured and the building temperature controlled, the wood gym flooring will be installed.

Once the slab/floor is poured, framing can start in those areas.

The middle/high school wing is starting to take shape.

The 2nd floor balcony of the commons/cafeteria area will feature a stepped seating element that will overhang from the balcony.

Drywall continues to be installed in areas of the building that are weathertight. Most walls on the exterior have a stud wall built in front of the exterior precast wall. This allows more flexibility and ease of install for things like data connections, outlets, and plumbing. Future adaptations to this infrastructure that might occur will be more accessible and therefore less cost.

Insulation is added in the walls between classrooms and other areas to limit noise transfer and create quieter, calmer, environments.
