City of St. Croix Falls Notice of West Parking Lot and Utility Reconstruction

Block 39 Parking Lot Improvements

The City-contracted company, Nick’s Trucking & Excavating LLC, will be reconstructing the back (west) parking lot adjacent to your business.

Purpose: To reconstruct the parking lot and replace aging utility infrastructure.

Location: Parking Lot West of South Washington Street businesses, North of West Kentucky Street, and East of North River Street

Estimated project duration: May 18 to July 17, 2026

Nick’s Trucking & Excavating will begin construction Monday, May 18. Portions of the sidewalks and pedestrian paths will be closed throughout the duration of the project. No traffic impacts are anticipated along West Kentucky Street.

The west parking lot will be closed to all vehicular traffic for approximately two weeks. During this time, employees and customers will be directed to park on nearby side streets.

Please refer to the project map provided below for project extents.

Survey control points, staking hubs, and lath with be installed periodically throughout construction to facilitate construction of the project to the proposed design. Please refrain from disturbing hubs and lath. The contractor will remove the hubs and lath once they are done being utilized.

ISG is the City-appointed Engineer and will be performing construction observation on the project. ISG will be on-site periodically while the contractor performs the work and will be available to address any questions you may have.
